The journey of a crate

From your door to Amazon’s, the whole route, priced as it goes.

Six steps, and every price prints the moment it happens, nothing sprung on you at the end. Below, follow one real carton of 100 units the whole way through — the units-in-boxes path. Sending sealed cases instead? Those forward whole, never opened.

Stage 01 · Goods in

It lands at our door.

The van backs onto the dock and your carton is in our hands. It’s booked in against your packing list the same day it arrives, and from this moment your stock is insured in our care.

Receiving from £0.13/unit · £0.23 at this volume
Stage 02 · Unpack & count

Opened. Counted. Logged.

Flaps open, every unit is counted into your live inventory sheet and gets a quick once-over for obvious damage. If the supplier shorted you, you find out now, not when Amazon does.

Included in receiving · count logged to your sheet
Stage 03 · Storage

Stacked on the racking, and left.

Onto ambient, insured racking it goes, and there it sits until you call it in. Billed by the cubic metre per calendar month, not by the pallet, not by the “bay”, and never a fee you didn’t see coming. Picture one cubic metre as a large fridge-freezer, or a pallet stacked about waist high; you only pay for the space you actually use. And if your stock just stages with us briefly before forwarding on, that short stay is free — storage is only billed when stock actually stays.

Storage £20 / m³ / month · pay only for the space you use
Stage 04 · FNSKU label

You call it in. Now it’s prepped.

When you’re ready to send stock to Amazon, we print and apply the FNSKU label and cover any other scannable barcode so the fulfilment centre can’t mis-scan it. One label, one unit, no mixups.

Labelling from £0.11/unit · £0.19 at this volume
Stage 05 · Repack & carton label

Counted into the outbound carton.

Your units go into the shipping carton, your own box reused if it’s still sound, otherwise a fresh one built to Amazon spec. FBA carton labels on, taped and ready for the truck.

Repack £0.12/unit · your own boxes reused free
Stage 06 · Despatched

Gone. Within 24 hours.*

Booked onto the truck and on its way to the fulfilment centre, typically within 24 hours of us having complete labels and paperwork. Every line on that receipt was priced before you sent us a single box.
