Every shipment to ClearCrate gets a standard arrival check as part of receiving. Our Quality Inspection is the level up: a dedicated, hands-on service where we open the boxes and check the actual products, unit by unit, so faults are caught here in our warehouse instead of by your customers. It’s the difference between counting boxes and genuinely vouching for what’s inside them.
The exact checklist flexes to your product, but here’s what a typical inspection covers, and you get photos of anything that fails.
Every part is present, e.g. all 10 sticky hooks really are in each bag, nothing short-shipped.
The product works as intended, e.g. moving parts move, bearings spin freely, nothing seized or rusty.
No scratches, dents, rust, missing rubber, or misaligned parts, checked against how it should look new.
Retail packaging is intact and sellable, no crushed boxes, torn film or leaking seals.
Anything that doesn’t pass is photographed so you can see the issue for yourself, not just take our word.
Faulty units are set aside, not shipped, and you get a clear summary report of what we found.
You’ve never seen this batch. We make sure the first units out are right, and we flag anything we think might become a recurring problem before it scales up.
Returned or used units get checked and graded honestly, so only genuinely sellable stock goes back to Amazon under your account.
When a single rejected unit or bad review costs real money, spot-checking before dispatch protects both your margin and your account health.
We inspect 1 in every 10 units, a representative sample to catch batch-wide problems without inspecting everything. Best for trusted suppliers and steady, repeat stock.
Every single unit is checked. Best for new suppliers, fragile or mechanical items, high-value stock, or anything where one bad unit isn’t acceptable.
All prices exclude VAT. Inspection is an add-on to standard receiving. Got an unusual product or checklist in mind? Email us and we’ll tailor it.
Tell us your product and how thorough you’d like us to be, and we’ll build the checklist around it.
