ClearCrate provides Amazon FBA prep, storage and forwarding services from our warehouse at Broadgate, Whaplode Drove, Spalding, Lincolnshire PE12 0TN. ClearCrate is a trading name of LavaRose Group Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company no. 12767507), which is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Enquiry form and email. When you use the "Get my rates" form or email us, we receive the details you give us — typically your name, email address, rough monthly volume and anything you write in your message. We use this to reply to your enquiry, confirm your rates and set up your account. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Form submissions are processed by Netlify (our hosting provider) and delivered to our email, which is hosted by Zoho.
Client account records. If you become a client, we hold your contact details, shipping addresses, inventory records and invoices so we can provide the service. The lawful basis is performance of our contract with you, and legal obligation for accounting records.
Website analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how the site is used — pages visited, rough location, device type. This only runs if you accept cookies on our banner. The lawful basis is consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see Cookies below).
We use two kinds of cookies:
Essential. A small cookie remembering your cookie choice itself, so we don't ask you on every visit. This doesn't track you.
Analytics and advertising (optional). Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement cookies, which load only if you press Accept on our cookie banner. They help us see which pages work and whether our advertising brings the right visitors. If you press Reject, they never load.
Changed your mind? Clear this site's cookies in your browser and the banner will ask you again on your next visit, or email us and we'll help.
We never sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that make the site and business run: Netlify (website hosting and form handling), Zoho (email), Google (analytics and advertising measurement, with your consent), and our accountants where legally required. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are covered by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Enquiries that don't become clients are deleted within 12 months. Client records and invoices are kept for 6 years after the end of the relationship, as required for tax purposes. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard settings and is aggregated, not tied to your name.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Email hello@clearcrate.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes affecting existing clients will be flagged by email.
